Oh, Hey There,

I'm Demetrice!

I'm SO glad you're here! As a Certified Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner, I’ve experienced the joy and pain of motherhood. My own pregnancy journey has been full of ups and downs - from the heartache of pregnancy loss and preterm birth to the unimaginable pain of infant loss. These experiences, though tough, have fueled my passion to make sure every mama feels heard, supported, and empowered.
As a mom and healthcare professional, I have a deep and unique understanding of the need for high-quality care during and after pregnancy, especially for Black women.
That's why I'm here to be your go-to resource for everything from support to guidance. I've got the expertise AND the HEART to help you navigate this incredible journey.

Christmas Family Photo 2023

When I was just 25 weeks pregnant, after a previous miscarriage, things didn’t go as planned. Despite being a Labor & Delivery Nurse close to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, AND doing everything right, our baby girl, Tristin, arrived too early. She weighed only 1 pound and 8 ounces and, after six weeks, she passed way from Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC). I was heartbroken.

In my next pregnancy, I faced new challenges, including cervical insufficiency, which led to an emergency procedure and strict bed rest for almost half of my pregnancy. Prayerfully, our baby girl Trinity arrived healthy at 40 weeks. With our fourth pregnancy, Taelyn, was born without complications after a preventive procedure at 12 weeks of pregnancy.

However, before our son Trebor Jr. arrived early at 35 weeks, we faced two more losses – an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage. These experiences, especially as a Black woman and a professional in healthcare, have driven me to support and advocate for other women. As a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife, I’m focused on educating and empowering women, addressing racial disparities, and bridging gaps in healthcare.

I offer evidence-based courses, mentorship, and support to help you feel educated and empowered throughout your journey, from preconception to postpartum.
